illumeMed TM, LLC Privacy Policy

illumeMed, LLC’s (“IM”) has established this comprehensive Privacy Policy which explains how IM  collects, uses, and protects a party’s information and data (collectively the “Information”) which may be disclosed to IM by third parties (“Users”), and the choices Users have concerning IM’s use of such Information. This Privacy Policy is subject to all IM’s ‘Terms of Use’ which is viewable by clicking this link: Terms of Use

By way of background, Information is generally classified into 2 main categories, as follows:

PERSONALLY IDENTIFIABLE INFORMATION [PII]:

PII refers to information that lets us know the specifics of who a User is. For example, personal information may be requested when a User   participates in a survey IM may conduct as noted below. The information requested might include the Users’ name, e-mail address, payment information, etc.

NON-PERSONALLY IDENTIFIABLE INFORMATION:

This information consists of general information that normally does not by itself identify a specific individual. For example, this information may include the User’s “URL” (Uniform Resource Locator), what browser a User is using, and a Users’ Internet Protocol (“IP”) address. This information is compiled and analyzed on both a personal and an aggregated basis.

IM will not knowingly share any Information we collect with others in ways different from what is described in this Privacy Policy. IM may, from time to time, conduct various surveys, either for its own benefit or on behalf of a third party. Participation in these surveys is completely voluntary and prospective participants therefore have a choice whether or not to participate. Information requested may include, but not be limited to, Personally Identifiable Information, Non-Personally Identifiable Information, and ‘Sensitive Personal Information’ [SPI]. IM reserves the right to freely use, license, sell, rent, or provide the survey Information to a third party, either directly or through an IM affiliate or a third party. IM may also use the Information for purposes of monitoring or improving the use of its products and/or its services. Survey participants should also be aware that when they voluntarily disclose Information in a survey, such Information can/may be used by others and may result in unsolicited postal mailings or messages from various third parties. IM may also generate aggregate statistics and use, share, license, and provide this Information to others, but such Information would not disclose or compromise the behavior or identity of any User.

Users have the opportunity and option to choose (opt out) whether their Personal Identifiable Information is (1) to be disclosed to a third party or (2) to be used for a purpose other than the purpose for which it was originally collected or subsequently authorized by the User. For ‘Sensitive Personal Information’ [SPI], a User also has the opportunity and option to affirmatively or explicitly (opt out) or consent to the disclosure of the SPI for a purpose other than the purpose for which it was originally collected or subsequently authorized by the User.

Protecting the privacy of minors is especially important to us. For that reason we never knowingly collect or maintain information  from those that we have actual knowledge that a User is a minor, and  IM does not knowingly solicit any Information from minors.

IM will, at all times, use its best commercially reasonable efforts to comply with the intent of this Privacy Policy, and will not knowingly cause a violation. However, as stated in our Terms of Use, under no circumstances does IM assume any responsibility or liability, financial or otherwise, to any User, person, entity or third party for any violations. Upon notice to IM of any actual violations of this Privacy Policy, IM will  take immediate steps to correct the situation.

If a complaint or dispute cannot be resolved through our internal process, we agree to use an independent dispute resolution process as stated in our Terms of Use to help resolve the complaint or dispute.
